As is typical with configurator, there is no documentation so we are left to ourselves to figure this out. I think you might have to re-apply that profile after the preperation is complete. I added one and everything worked, but I found it interesting that the iPad did not have the profile on it and I had to manually connect to WIFI.

When preparing them in configurator the very last step is it asks you for a WIFI profile to add to the device for it to complete the enrollment.

I logged into my MDM and could see the iPad under my DEP devices. I was immediately able to go to assign devices and put in the serial number of the iPad I just enrolled in DEP and assign it to my MDM server. Then update the iPad to iOS11.Īfter I enrolled it via configurator and logged into DEP there was the new Added by Apple configurator listed by by MDM server. Granted I did have to update my Mac to the latest version of Sierra to be able to download 2.5. So I did one yesterday and it worked perfectly.
